Staying healthy in winter
Staying healthy are fully functional in winter is something we would all want for ourselves but due to wrong diet or work routines we fall sick and end up in the bed with a rack full of medicine. Here is a list of five different things that we have been doing wrong which is severely affecting our health and mental well-being. Following the list would greatly help you in staying healthy throughout this winter and will let you perform at your peak.

Immunity, Immunity, Immunity:

Immunity is something in our body that keeps us safe even if the dirty and harmful bacteria’s get inside us. The Immunity system is responsible for fighting these unwanted germs inside of our body and help us in remaining healthy throughout. Boosting Immunity is important. By the every passing moment, the bacteria are entering our system with the intention of infecting our insides and if it was not our Immune System, we would be getting sick every time.  Immunity can be boosted by supplements, regular but nutritious diets, citrus fruits and all the green veggies. Supplements used for strengthening the Immune System may include Echinacea, garlic, zinc and vitamin C which would help in building the immune system.

Don’t stop moving:

Yes, it’s very hard to find any motivation in the morning to go to the gym, when it’s freezing outside. However, workout and physical activities are a must for a healthy body. This problem can be solved easily by starting some workout inside and when your body gets warmer, head for the gym. Do not forget to wear your winter clothes properly when heading out to the gym. Not wearing proper clothes in winter can affect our body in many different and dangerous ways.

Drink your Water:

Most of us drink water only when we feel like drinking it, and in winters this habit hits even deeper. Water is not only essential for the body metabolism, but also for the skin. The water level in the body keeps in check the moisture in the skin and provides it with water if it lacks somewhere. If we stop drinking water daily, the moisture replenishing capacity of the body decreases which ultimately leads to skin dryness and rashes.

Protect your skin:

Millions of the surface body cells die every day; even they continue to die inside of you as your read. The dead remains of these cells may block the entry doors to the moisture water molecules to enter your skin. Removing these is an important task for the proper functioning of any moisturizer. Exfoliating your face and hands is a must, as these parts are the mainly exposed to dirt and dead cell bodies. It is a good practice if you use an exfoliating mask for proper exfoliation experience.

Keep a track of your Weight:

Winter is like a leave-the-exercise season. People regularly ditch their morning exercise schedule due to cold which ultimately adds up to their weight. As we tend to move less in winters and spend fewer calories working, winter is the prime season of gaining weight. To avoid such situations a long run in morning with some light exercising is beneficial in maintaining your weight and body shape.
